Wisconsin Business  Litigation Speaker and Author

Attorney Robert Corris is a frequent speaker and author on subjects relating to Wisconsin business litigation and other business law issues, including proof of lost profits, the Wisconsin Fair Dealership Law, injunctions, decision tree analysis and civil RICO laws.

From 1993 through 2003, he served as a co-editor of the Business Torts Newsletter of the American Bar Association’s Litigation Section. Since 1999, he has chaired Lorman Education Services’ regular seminars on Wisconsin non-compete agreements and presented numerous other seminars on non-competes and trade secrets.

He is the author of the chapter on requests for admissions in the Wisconsin State Bar’s Wisconsin Discovery Law and Practice book, and he continues to prepare supplements and revised editions. He also originated the section on electronic discovery in the chapter on requests for production and continues to update that section.

Robert also organized the first seminar on e-discovery for Wisconsin judges, and he has lectured on e-discovery to countless Wisconsin lawyers.

In 2011, Robert will be revising his chapters in Wisconsin Discovery Law and Practice, speaking on confidentiality agreements at a State Bar seminar  and chairing the 2011 Lorman seminar on non-competes.
