employee non-competition issues, injunctions, and civil RICO. He spent many years as the co-editor of the ABA Litigation Section, Business Torts Committee Newsletter. His experience in a large law firm instilled in him the value of
personal attention to the needs of clients and dedication to excellence.
Expertise
Part of the enjoyment of law is the intellectual challenge of acquiring and applying expertise. As a business litigator for over
thirty years, Robert B. Corris has acquired a broad base of knowledge and expertise. By way of
example, he has represented both manufacturers and distributors in dealer termination cases, employers and employees in injunction hearings seeking to enforce or invalidate non-competition agreements, the Resolution Trust Corporation
in failed financial institution litigation, plaintiffs and defendants in fraud and civil racketeering cases, buyers and sellers in commercial litigation, banks and customers in bank check and deposit litigation, and owners in
construction litigation.
Robert B. Corris was one of the first lawyers in Wisconsin to lecture to members of the State Bar on civil RICO, business torts, and decision tree litigation analysis.
The use of advanced computer technology is a prime example of why he is a leader in the field of business litigation in Wisconsin. He uses the newest litigation support systems, including database management programs and imaging
hardware and software, in order to manage complex civil litigation.
